和製英語：Sorry, no exchange. （あるいはSorry, we cannot change money.）
意味：「Sorry, no exchange」は「返品はできません」という意味です。「Sorry, we cannot change money」は「お金を変更できません」という意味（意味のない文章）です。ちなみに、英語では両替の時の「exchange」は外国の通貨に対してしか使いません。「札を崩す」という意味で使えません。
正しい英語：「Sorry, we cannot break bills.」 あるいは「Sorry, we cannot make change.」（ちなみに、「両替はできません」は「Sorry, we cannot exchange currency.」または「Sorry, we do not accept foreign currency.」です。）

うおー。知らなかったです。
日本語に訳すと foreign exchange も breaking bills も「両替」なので、そこからきた誤解でしょう。結構よくみかける表記なんですが、誰が教えてあげればいいのに…。
